That is awesome that you saw some turtles. We walk in the nature preserve by our house but have not seen turtles yet this year! -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-beingWhat did you observe while spending time outside -- through sight, sound, smell and/or touch? How did you feel after spending time outdoors?
Monica Baird 4/30/2025 6:55 AMI LOVE SPRING! It is now getting greener and more beautiful colors everywhere. So wonderful to hear the birds coming back to sing in the trees. Love going to Hudson Springs park and walk to find wildlife. Yesterday, my best friend and I were able to find 4 turtles hanging on the tree branches going into the man made lake. Awesome! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-beingHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What creative ways did you find to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet?
Monica Baird 4/30/2025 6:51 AMIt really has made me more mindful of how many fruits and veggies I have per meal. Eating them raw also was a very interesting way to eat new fruits and vegetables.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONIn Our CommunitiesWhat is the most exciting thing that you learned about your community? Did you learn something about your community that will change the way you engage with it?
Monica Baird 4/30/2025 6:48 AMIt was very exciting to find out that my city's original borders were bigger than they are today. So many parks and other areas are named by founding fathers of our community. Happy for this challenge to learn about my city. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-beingBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Monica Baird 4/30/2025 6:46 AMBefore I started this challenge, yes I felt addicted to sugar. I have come so far. Much more energy without processed sugar.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeDo you live in an area that is water secure or with water scarcity? What other actions do you take to use water more efficiently?
Monica Baird 4/22/2025 6:22 AMI live close to Lake Erie. Probably water security is assured. Definitely turn off the water when I brush my teeth and only turn back on for rinsing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONOne HealthcareHow did performing random acts of kindness make you feel? Were you surprised by any of the responses you received from recipients?
Monica Baird 4/21/2025 7:12 AMMy best friend and I have given over 10k Miraculous medals individually to all walks of life. Many responses are that people are touched. The warmth that emanates from their face gives me a great joy too. It makes me happy to show that Jesus loves each one of us as his children.
