Less Screen Time
I will replace 30 minute(s) of screen time per day with other activities, and limit my social media use to once per day.
At Home

I will repair an item, such as clothing or an appliance, for myself, a friend, family member, or neighbor.
At Home
Adjust the Thermostat
I will adjust my thermostat down 2 degrees from usual when I use the heat, and up 2 degrees when I use air conditioning.
Health & Well-being
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 5 minute(s) each day.
Health & Well-being
Healthy Hydration
I will improve hydration by drinking an additional 8oz of water each day. I will do this by drinking additional servings of water or by drinking water in place of other less healthy beverage options.
At Home
Needs Vs. Wants
I will adopt a "Needs Vs. Wants" approach and only buy things I need.
Health & Well-being
Go Get a Check Up
I will make 1 appointments to support my health and well-being (primary care provider, dental, vision, etc.)
At Home
Practice the 5 r's
I will Practice the "5 Rs" — refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle — to reduce my waste more than I can with just recycling alone.

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Repair an ItemWhat was the last item you repaired? How did you do it and what was the outcome? What are your favorite resources for learning how to repair items yourself?
Casmira Brazaitis 4/10/2024 4:08 AMI repaired my dog's towel coat- to use when he is very wet or after swimming. the seam had come undone at the front. I did this by hand sewing, and checked online how to end the stich as I had forgotten how to how to do that.

Zoe Anastas (SWMC) 4/10/2024 9:39 AMSpeaking of canine items--I repair my dog's toys. He is quite ravenous with his toys and instead of buying so many new ones I sew them back together. It gives me something to do with my hands when I am watching one of my kids soccer game or a movie.
