Research. Research. Research and ask why? Why are these products Green/Sustainable/Eco Friendly? Who actually owns these brands, let alone sustainable brands. We have to ask more difficult questions and look at labeling. Not all green washing is malicious.

Thank you for your post! There are some apps out there can help with this research and with what is in the products themselves. We use an app called YUKI that tells how natural a product is. There are other ones out there as well. Thank you for you post!

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What are some of the benefits you've noticed from connecting with colleagues at work?

It is rather a small community and small facility here on Friday Harbor, what I've learned while slowly coming out of winter and revisiting or establishing new friendships is the ability to have deeper conversations but also care more about mental/emotional help at work.

Reaching out to individuals, doing check ups, also creating a closer working relationship.

Thank you for your post! It is so important to have more than just a surface level relationship with others, as it can make work more enjoyable and less of a burden or necessity.
