"“Little drops of water, little grains of sand, make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land. So the little moments, humble though they be, make the mighty ages of Eternity. So the little errors lead the soul away from the paths of virtue far in sin to stray. Little deeds of kindness, little words of love, help to make earth happy, like the Heaven above.” ― Julia A.F. Carney"

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt WorkWhat green attributes do you look for when making purchasing decisions?
Monica Edwards 4/22/2025 7:50 AMLess plastic packaging, sustainable ingredients and certifications. For example, I buy refills for my plant-derived hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. My deodorant is in paper packaging. I also buy laundry detergent sheets instead of liquid: less water, less plastic. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Monica Edwards 4/03/2025 7:27 AMLawn watering, fertilization and pesticide use is big in our neighborhood. We let our lawn grow naturally and prioritize our watershed over the competition to keep the greenest lawn. -
