REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-being Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Danielle Eidson 4/03/2024 4:45 AMI walked my dog, which was a 3 fer, nature challenge, exercise challenge and less screen time challenge. I've been wanting to do this for MONTHS! Not just phone screen time, but TV screen time as well. 10 years ago, I quit watching TV and it was one of the best things I did. I'm not sure why it was easier then. I've found it nearly impossible now. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-being Mindfulness / Meditation PracticeWhat best helped you with your mindfulness or meditation practice? Did the practice become easier over time?
Danielle Eidson 4/02/2024 4:45 AMDaily meditation
What best helped you with your mindfulness or meditation practice? Did the practice become easier over time? There are a couple ways I meditate: listen to specific hertz music and release all words from my mind or a mindful focus on what I want to create in my life. I've meditated off and on for over 20 years and find that when I do, I feel more peaceful. However, most of the time I have the excuse that I don't have time. I'd like to utilize this month to create a habit of meditating 5 minutes before I open my emails and start working for the day. Wonder what that will create for my day at work?-
Barb Dunn 4/02/2024 8:17 AMMore I do the better my day I write out bible verses on sticky notes and repeat and reflect. The Holy Spirit brings them to mind! -
Sara Donovan 4/02/2024 6:44 AMWow that sounds great. My routine is meditating at home before I come to work. I usually do 8 minutes but if I am running late I do less or occasionally none. I will be interested to hear how it impacts your email reading!

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Work Turn It OffWas this action easy to add to your daily routine? Why or why not?
Danielle Eidson 4/02/2024 4:39 AMTurning off my computer screen. Was this action easy to add to your daily routine? Why or why not? Actually, it is. I already turn off all lights behind me when I leave a room, this is doing the same thing. Now to start unplugging unused electrical devices as well. I learned you should even unplug your phone charger. I just have it plugged in next to my bed. Every little thing helps!
