REFLECTION QUESTIONAt WorkWhile one's plastic cutlery is a seemingly very small part of someone's "plastic impact", why do you think it's important for us to address this opportunity to reduce?
Erin Fellows 4/17/2025 9:43 AMIt takes many small initiatives to reach our goal in the much larger picture. Anything and everything we can do, even though we feel it is small and insignificant will add up in the long run!! If we along with 1,000 others say, stop using 1 piece of plastic cutlery per day.... that will save the environment of about 6 lbs. of plastic per day... over 1 year that adds up to over 2,000 pounds!! Just one fork per day... hmmmm... -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Erin Fellows 4/15/2025 7:15 AMhttps://youtu.be/rycO9GbvdSg
Everyday life can have an impact on our water systems. I found this video very simple and informative. Of course, pollutants get much more complicated than this video... but starting to think about simple and easily applied solutions is where it all starts. We will make a positive impact when we work together.-
