I'm grateful for the flexibility in my work schedule that allows for volunteering in my community. Practicing gratitude helps me focus on the positive things happening in my world and not hyper-fixate on the tragedy that our government has become.

Treating it like paying myself first (in regard to saving money). When I take care of myself first I am my best self for others.

New to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?

I've realized since starting to compost that we are wasting more food than I originally thought. I intend to reduce the amount of produce we purchase until we reach the point where we're using 95% of it weekly.
