REFLECTION QUESTIONIn Our Communities Support a Sharing/Reuse EconomyWhat are some of the barriers to sharing economies? What is your plan for supporting or creating one in your community? If you focused on purchasing items second-hand, did you have success? What did you learn in the process?
Stephanie Kresic 4/01/2024 5:40 AMI love purchasing my clothes second hand. I started this in high school and it took a while to find good quality clothes. Now, I use ThredUP and it's so easy to find high quality clothes, even ones that still have tags!-
Margaret Marsalka 4/08/2024 5:20 AMI'll have to try thredup. I saw the below comment, I did also just attend a clothing swap and it was so much fun! -
Lisa Kropp 4/01/2024 8:01 AMThere is a clothing swap nearby that I'd like to attend but will be out of town. I may organize one of my own.

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Stephanie Kresic 4/01/2024 5:28 AMThere are so many things lying around my house that can be used for things other than their intended purpose. Sometimes having an idea of a need can be found with the things you already have.-
Candice Miller 4/01/2024 5:37 AMYou are so right, Stephanie. Necessity is the mother of invention. Why not repurpose an item into something special rather than let it collect dust or head to a landfill.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-being GratitudeWhat is one thing that you are grateful for today? How does practicing gratitude make you feel?
Stephanie Kresic 4/01/2024 5:26 AMI'm grateful for the food I get to eat, especially leftovers from a stellar family gathering. Practicing gratitude always makes me feel blessed and whole.
