As the saying goes, "It all starts with the first step." I find that the most difficult step in most anything. Putting yourself out there to make that change can be a huge mental hurdle.

I joined this challenge because it reminds me of those little hurdles I can make, like eat more veggies or think about that water bottle you are about to purchase. Alone they might not be huge, but tackling them one at a time really does help. And it leads to a behavioral change that has a long-term impact both environmentally, but health-wise too.

Well said, Dru! I too find that first step to be the hardest.

Bravo! Same here, Dru. We have to celebrate the little victories. They add up! Keep up the good work. Your little hurdles are making an impact.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
One Healthcare Use A Reusable Mug/Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Bringing a reusable water bottle everywhere has multiple benefits. I have less waste, save money, and feel I drink more water for my health.
