REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Compost Food WasteNew to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?
Julianne Luong 4/11/2024 10:25 AMCompost is going to a student garden at UCSD! Composting just my food scraps makes me 2x more vigilant of my food waste production. As an effort not to fill up my compost bucket too fast, all my roommates try their best to use up their produce before it goes bad too. Sticky note reminders on the fridge really help!-
Barbara Hamilton 4/12/2024 9:12 AMIf food waste were a country ---it would be the third highest emitter of greenhouse gases after the US and China! Waste not, want not.
