REFLECTION QUESTIONOne HealthcareDoes working with others toward a common cause motivate or inspire you to act differently than you otherwise would? How can collaboration lead to more sustainable outcomes?
Alice Muehlbauer 4/07/2025 7:25 AMI really like reading the feed. It's nice to see all the activities healthcare professionals are doing, not just at my hospital campus, not nationally! -
Alice Muehlbauer 4/07/2025 7:14 AMShutout to Melanie Engels and Roxanne Miner on the Froedtert Health Team for taking lead in making a difference! Both are over 100 points! Lets gooooo!! -
Alice Muehlbauer 4/04/2025 7:04 AMHospitals run 24/7 and play a critical role in society, but can also leave a significant impact on the environment by consuming vast amounts of energy, water, and generating large amounts of single-use plastic waste among other things. Moving towards sustainable practices can protect human health - a healthier planet supports healthier people, making environmental responsibility a vital part of public health. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-beingWhat is one thing that you are grateful for today? How does practicing gratitude make you feel?
Alice Muehlbauer 4/03/2025 6:04 AMToday, Earth Month has me grateful for my dedicated healthcare green teams who work tirelessly to care for patients/staff while also championing sustainability. Their commitment to reducing waste, conserving energy, and promoting environmentally friendly practices in healthcare inspires hope for a healthier planet.Practicing gratitude for these efforts makes me feel optimistic and motivated. It reinforces the idea that individual and collective actions can drive meaningful change. The strides made in healthcare sustainability reminds me that caring for our environment is an extension of caring for our health—something worth celebrating and supporting every day.
