    I just did some research and learned that our pipette tip supplier has a new product that uses bio-based plastics and have refillable holders, and they're the same price! We will be trialing these new tips and hopefully switching over to significantly reduce our single-use plastic footprint!

    I repaired a lamp instead of buying a new one! It was way easier than I thought it would be (thanks youtube). And in doing so I also shopped at my local hardware store instead of buying online! :)
