I am trying the daily challenge of turning off all the lights when I leave -- man oh man! I didn't realize how many lights I was leaving on in the basement here at work each day! I always turn my office light off when I leave but I never did any of the other lights -- I went around and turned them all off before I left yesterday and there were a lot! So much energy (and money) spent. I am definitely going to try to keep this one up in the future.

It's a goal of mine this year to buy fewer "fast fashion" items I know will wear out quickly and instead to try to buy garments I know will last longer -- and to thrift more pieces!
