Our family makes it a habit to use LED lightbulbs and turn off lights, fans, and appliances as we leave the room.

We recently switched out all our bulbs too! It saves energy but also so much money, wish we had done it sooner. The rest of the lesser used bulbs we will switch out as they burn out.

We do similar things! We started unplugging things we do not use as well. This has been a more difficult habit to learn for my kids, but it is bringing down our electric bill too!

I cleaned and repaired a bird feeder with success. I can already see a cardinal and a goldfinch using the bird feeder.
Google is my go-to for opportunities to learn how to fix things that I am not aware of.

Picking up litter helps keep me connected to my community and keeps my community clean (air, ground, and water). Empty plastic bottles seem to be a common item found on the sides of our community roads.
