    Do I need to build a bluebird house and buy a post? The want is the natural pest control, listen to the male sing and to watch the beauty of them flying around and growing a family. This is a strong yes for me and so I built 2 and within 12 hours a bluebird family moved into one. The 2nd was just installed yesterday. I'm looking forward to watching them & hoping for mor families to move in. Yes, this was a want but a nice need;-)

      Here are 3 different kinds of bird house specs (diywithwayne.com) that you can make from 1 cedar plank. These are the 2 birdhouses I made. The darker one was $35 all precut with a class at Flandersnaturecenter.org then I remade the same one on my own.

      The simple pleasures in life...That sounds amazing, Dottie! Share a picture of your finished houses. I bet they look great!!
      And, if you're willing to share your blueprints, I think it would be so cool to build one for my house. :D I don't think I've been lucky enough to see a bluebird with my naked eye over here.

    greatful for my health- by taking daily steps for a healthier life. Greatful for my job and my co-workers who are supportive of each other always. Greatful that I have a safe warm home to live in.

      I could not agree more, Dottie. Practicing gratitude is so much more than just saying Thank You! Gratitude changes the way you look at the world. I don't know about you all...To me, everything is so much more radiant & beautiful when you start being grateful.
