REFLECTION QUESTIONOne Healthcare Use A Reusable Mug/BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:28 AMI think some people don't like carrying around a big water bottle. Some people want a lid on their drink. So they like to use a closed water bottle that is not reusable. I like my reusable water bottle. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONOne Healthcare Random Act of KindnessHow did performing random acts of kindness make you feel? Were you surprised by any of the responses you received from recipients?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:27 AMOver time of completing random acts of kindness I find that a simple act of kindness is just as nice as a bigger act of kindness. Smiling at a person or saying hi to someone as you walk by. being nice to a worker is just as nice as a bigger act of kindness. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Work Go PaperlessHave you considered doing a review of your work practices to see if there are opportunities to go digital with a process that has historically been paper-based at your organization?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:25 AMWe use an electronic medical record system at my organization. We are working on how we can go digital and not use as much paper. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Whole Foods DietWhat benefits do whole foods and plant-based foods have on health and the environment?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:25 AMI feel whole foods and plant based foods help with energy and are healthier for you to eat. They give you nutrients that your body needs to survive. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Brush My Teeth Without Water RunningDo you live in an area that is water secure or with water scarcity? What other actions do you take to use water more efficiently?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:24 AMMy area is water secure. I take short showers and turn the water off when brushing my teeth. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Shorter ShowersName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Kristi Prozialeck 4/08/2024 11:23 AMMy water comes from a well. Recycling and picking up garbage and waste around your area can help with water. When walking your dog picking up their waste can help.
