    I volunteered my time with 2 coworkers at Partners for World Health in Portland, Maine! Incredible experience to visit and work next to volunteers, all working to get supplies and equipment to people in need of care.

    Lead by example and acknowledge coworkers when they turn off the lights. Lights off at work is no different than lights off at home!

    I attended AORN in Boston this year. I connected with other nurses who matched with my interest in sustainability. I met a nurse from NH who was very interested in our BCH sustainability efforts and looking to connect with her in the near future.

    Donation is important! We repurpose unused, clean items from the OR to the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA! They love the supplies!
