    We are making strides here in the DC, focusing on keeping our parting lot clean and being mindful of turning off lights and passing on printed items wherever possible.

    Yesterday I came across the Catawba Riverkeeps which is an organization that plans cleanup days along our local Riverbanks that gets trashed by fishers and people exploring.
    I can't think of a better way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday and got registered in minutes. I also signed up my husband, I may find something heavy! HAHA!

    I'm feeling very accomplished. I took a trip to the Recycling center yesterday to purge several bulky things that needed to be taken there. I have never taken anything to the center and wanted to go have a look. Very interesting place indeed.

    it's Friday cleanup day around the parking area here at work. Windy days bring lots of litter around our fence area. It's a win/win to get a few extra steps in and get the yard cleaned up.
