Daniel's actions
At Home
Repair an Item
I will repair an item, such as clothing or an appliance, for myself, a friend, family member, or neighbor.
One Healthcare
Use A Reusable Mug/Bottle
I will keep 3 disposable cup(s) and/or bottle(s) from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle, cup, or mug.
Health & Well-being
Reduce Refined Sugar
I will adopt a diet free of refined sugars, which eliminates sweetened beverages, candy, and processed foods.
Health & Well-being
Do Nature Activities
I will engage in nature-based activities alone, or with my friends or family, for 20 minute(s) each day. (This can be anything from going on a walk or hike, to noticing the leaves changing color, to reading a book with nature themes.)
Health & Well-being
Healthy Hydration
I will improve hydration by drinking an additional 32oz of water each day. I will do this by drinking additional servings of water or by drinking water in place of other less healthy beverage options.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt Home Repair an ItemWhat was the last item you repaired? How did you do it and what was the outcome? What are your favorite resources for learning how to repair items yourself?
Daniel Scheer 4/01/2024 1:48 PMOur dryer. It stopped working so I looked up the make and model online. Turns out I was able to take it apart and repair it myself. Saved money not calling a repair person and we didn't have to replace it.-
Brian Nelson (SWMC) 4/01/2024 2:31 PMSuper satisfying when a bit of Youtubing pays off, huh? :)
