I'm not sure who gets more pleasure from random acts of kindness... the person receiving or myself? It's actually kind of addicting.

Our carrots, radishes, broccoli and cauliflower are all thriving in our little greenhouse. Growing our own veggies is so rewarding and means we eat more healthy stuff.

Our hydroponic garden is providing lots of fresh lettuce and even some bell peppers. It's nice to know where some of my food is coming from.

I'm off to donate items to the local humane society's thrift shop later today. I love that it keeps the items out of the garbage stream and will assist a non-profit in its mission.

Eating fruit with my breakfast, a colorful salad with my lunch, and more veggies at dinner is helping me feel better about myself and my contribution to our planet.
