  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    At Home Repair an Item
What was the last item you repaired? How did you do it and what was the outcome? What are your favorite resources for learning how to repair items yourself?

I did repair my desk chair instead of buying another. The feet rest would never stay so I found a piece of PVC pipe I could wrap around the base of the chair to prevent the footrest from falling. I used an oscillating tool to cut about an inch out of the PVC so I could snap it around the base. It's not pretty but it serves its purpose.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

When the sun is out I plan on getting all my activity in the yard. I LOVE mowing and edging. So rewarding at the end. :) Same as weed pulling. Though 20 years ago I would have said no thank you to any of these!!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    At Home Needs Vs. Wants

While getting my garden ready I WANTED lots of pretty things from the garden center. I limited myself to 1 pretty annual bowl and then got some strawberry plants that will hopefully come back next year, along with Brussel sprouts and tomatoes.

I agree! It is a challenge, especially with all of that hidden sugar. Keep up the good work! It will get easier (that's what I tell myself, too).
