REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Well-being Learn About Constructive CommunicationWhat is one way you would like to improve your communication skills? Why is constructive communication important at work and at home?
Lori Winkels 4/16/2024 2:00 PMI would like to listen more and think better before responding. Constructive communication is important at home because it allows me to help my boys understand right from wrong and stress the importance of values.-
Zoe Anastas (SWMC) 4/16/2024 2:47 PMThat's great Lori and also listening before responding helps model that behavior that we want to understand people's perspectives as well. When I hear someone say something that I might jump to conclusions, I ask, "tell me more" to better understand their perspective and context.
