What was the last item you repaired? How did you do it and what was the outcome? What are your favorite resources for learning how to repair items yourself?

I am enjoying having a couple of daily goals to focus on - and then hold myself accountable by checking in. I especially love focusing on gratitude and writing these things down each day.

Thankful for the sunshine today and the warmer temperatures. I found that I walked into work with a positive attitude and a special smile because of the sunshine.

I've planted 1 tree last year but that is sure to change this year. I'm slowly going to gain the shade in my huge yard.

My goal is to plant at least one a year! I just put it in the budget. When I think about how much I spend every year on mulch, garden supplies, lawn mower gas (which I hope to transition this year to electric).

And when i run out of space in my yard (1/4 acre), I will ask my neighbors if they want one. Because more canopy helps everyone's health and biodiversity in our neighborhoods

Did procuring local ingredients impact the way you think about food or the meals you decided to prepare? If so, how?

When crop are in season you bet, I'm at the farmer's market. With the price at the grocery store the farmers market always has what I need in stock.

I am only 43 but I can remember a time when it was special to get out of season produce. I think dried fruit and responsibly canned/preserved fruits and veggies can help us reduce the overall impact of shipping produce from all around the world.

Doing well still turning off lights that I am not using. Trying to recycle at home instead of just putting everything in the trash.
