  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    One Healthcare
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

It is so important to recognize our wasteful habits regarding plastics. I cannot think of any personal barriers for using a reusable water or access to tap water. I have for at least 3 years now used a reusable water bottle and I fill it each morning and bring it to work with me. When I am out and about I also keep a filled reusable bottle with me. I can say that this good habit is on its' way to being a permanent habit...

So true! I took out the recycling in the break room in my area this morning, and it was almost entirely single use plastic bottles.

I have not made it to any farmers' markets yet- it's only day 10 though! And I'm not interested in sharing my farmers' market experience with snow or temps below 60 degrees. Let's go spring temperatures, please...

I'm excited for the Portland farmers market to transition back to outside! They'll be outside starting Saturday, April 19th. That will feel like the real start of springtime to me!

Grateful to wake up after a night of restful sleep. To sleep through the night for a full 6 hours is really wonderful!
