In Our Communities Keep My Community Clean
How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community? What was the most common item you found littered?

The act of picking up litter allows me to connect with my community because it is good for the environment and allows me to get out and be a part of nature. The most common item I found was plastic bottles and cans. Every piece of litter that is picked up (even though it can be as minimal as one item) means there is one less dangerous item to the land and/or sea animals. Picking up litter can help protect wildlife and improve water quality. This is one way I can show pride in my community.

Grateful for health. Health is one of the things we take for granted, so I am grateful to be healthy and wish to promote healthy steps to others.

I don't think I have an addiction to sugar. However, I have a history of gestational diabetes, so I am more mindful of the foods that I eat. I limit to one sweetened beverage once a week.

Set a timer on my watch every hour to remind myself to drink water. I work an 8-hour shift, so I will attempt to drink at least 2 oz every hour.
