At Work
Use Reusables at Work
I will keep 4 forks, spoons, and/or knives from entering the landfill by using reusable utensils when eating at work.
At Work
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 3 meatless meal(s) and/or 1 vegan meal(s) each day this week.
At Work
Go Paperless
I will avoid printing 15 pieces of paper by "going digital" and printing double-sided whenever possible.
At Work
Turn It Off
I will turn my computer monitor(s) off at my work station when not in use to save energy (I will follow my organization's IT instructions for keeping on, turning off, or restarting computers).
At Work
Last to Leave? Lights Out, Please!
Lighting makes up approximately 10% of hospitals' energy use on average. I will save energy by turning off unnecessary lights when not in use and when I am the last one to leave a space.
At Work
Stay Connected
I will schedule coffee breaks, lunches, and/or check-in meetings with 1 coworkers to promote connectivity in my workplace.
At Work
Greener Purchasing
I will select a greener option when purchasing supplies, such as products that have environmental certifications, less packaging, or other environmental attributes, or come from local vendors.
At Work
Report a Leak
I will prevent water from being wasted by reporting one or more leaky faucets, toilets, or other water leaks to my organization's facilities team for repair.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

Tiya Sacred Heart Hospice 4/01/2024 10:05 AMGood morning! I enjoy a good joke or a non-harmful prank (my rule is it can't be unkind or wasteful) ...April fools is a fun one for my kids and me. This morning, I stuffed socks in the toes of their shoes and made Jello in the juice pitcher. I'm still planning what shenanigans I might get in to after work. -
