I do have to have paper copies for a lot of things in my position, but I have different types of white boards and trackers that I can use rather than paper for a lot of things like project task notes or calendars. For a class that I teach, my colleague has laminated several of our paper-based needs so that we have them as we are moving or to pass out, but can re-use them for the next session. Another option for when you can't just store things electronically.

Use Reusables at Work
I will keep 1 forks, spoons, and/or knives from entering the landfill by using reusable utensils when eating at work.

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt WorkHave you considered doing a review of your work practices to see if there are opportunities to go digital with a process that has historically been paper-based at your organization?
Lisa Estevez 4/10/2025 12:20 PMThis challenge has me questioning whether I really need paper copies of things I would have once printed. I have started saving things electronically instead, which, in the long run, makes them easier to access from everywhere. Win, Win! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONOne HealthcareWhy do you donate blood?
Lisa Estevez 4/01/2025 7:42 AMI had never been able to donate blood in the past, due to multiple medical reasons in the past. I was able to complete a donation for the 1st time at our blood drive. It felt good to give back!-
