I appreciate the reminders to check in when meetings end unexpectedly early -- thank you to Kathryn!

Which of the 5 R's was easiest for you? Which was the most difficult? How did practicing the 5 R's help you reduce more waste than recycling alone?

This weekend it was easy to reduce by donating, the sunshine helped so much with decluttering! Reusing and recycling were also easy because we are hosting Easter and I was busy getting things out for the tables, I love finding new ways to use things we already have :) (I have some paint I need to recycle and didn't get that to the recycling center yet :(

Spring cleaning always feels so good! Especially when it's warm enough to roll down the windows in the car on your way to the donation drop off! Are you part of a Buy Nothing group on Facebook? Another great place to list your items for neighbors and local community members for free.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How did performing random acts of kindness make you feel? Were you surprised by any of the responses you received from recipients?

It was so much FUN to think about how my friend would react to the little something, finding ways to surprise and delight others is more fun than buying for yourself :)

How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people? What is your favorite meatless dish or recipe?

Been trying out salad and vegetable recipes for Easter, making meatless meals pretty easy.

How is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?

For me it's almost the opposite, simplicity leads to creativity. You see what you have more clearly and come us with more interesting ways to use the things you have when you simplify.

Love that opportunity to FOCUS on so many great areas where I have lots of room for improvement, practicing in community makes this all so much more fun!

I enjoy the fact that everyone is a teacher every day. It is what we open our eyes to that helps us see the bigger picture.
