Legacy Health Feed

BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Well-being Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I'd like to begin getting ready for bed earlier in the evenings so I can wake up earlier instead of giving myself just barely enough time to get up and ready. I still need to determine what will work to make this a successful habit.

I’ve recently adopted this change and it has improved my sleep so much! I’ve started cutting back screen time before bed which has helped a lot!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    In Our Communities Donate Items
Why is it important to consider how and to whom you donate your no-longer-needed items?

It's important to make these considerations to ensure the items are going to the right organization so they can make it to those that could give those items a second-life and make an impact on someone else's life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Health & Well-being Less Screen Time
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

I swapped it out for meditation/mindfulness and sleep which are also goals I selected

I joined this challenge to support my colleagues in living sustainably through daily intentions and simple actions.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
At Work Use Reusables at Work
While one's plastic cutlery is a seemingly very small part of someone's "plastic impact", why do you think it's important for us to address this opportunity to reduce?

If I reduce my plastic usage for every work day, that is 240 pieces per year. If 10 of my colleagues do the same, that's 2400 pieces per year which seems like it will make a difference.
