The flowering trees are gorgeous this year! A trip through my neighborhood brings me so much joy because of all the colorful blossoms! Practicing gratitude like this always puts me in a better mood and helps me be more positive.

I am lucky to live in an area where water is safe and plentiful. That said, I have really strived to be mindful of how I use the water in my household and teach my children how to use water in a way that is not wasteful. For example, I have been talking to my children about taking shorter showers and turning off the water when brushing our...

My Why is that the Planet is in need of individuals to care for Her future. It doesn't matter how you vote, where you live, where you worship, where you work, or how you play. I believe that everyone can have a vested interest in taking care of our Planet, even if it is in small ways. Creating sensible things such as provided by this Challenge...

It's easy to get discouraged or feel like one little person "doesn't make a difference", but realizing that there are a lot of others working hard to make the world a better place helps you understand that a lot of small changes will add up, especially if we are supporting each other and...

Recycle was the easiest as I recycle everything that I am able to even if the smallest piece of paper. Reuse was hard but I got used to it as I now remember to wash items instead of tossing them right away.

The phlebotomists and staff make me feel like a super star for donating. :) I am O+ and the need for this blood donation is high because it is the most...
