Gardening Tip! Consider creeping thyme for pathway groundcover or to replace grass areas due to its low-growing, aromatic foliage and ability to tolerate light foot traffic. It's a low-maintenance option that can soften the look of hardscaping by filling gaps between pavers and stones. Here's why creeping thyme is well-suited for...

I realized how aware I am of my eco challenge goals and am putting them into practice. Turns out I'm not very good at visiting the site to Check-In..haha

I noticed my elderly neighbor rarely put out their recycle bin so I laminated a the Waste Management flyer and gave it to them. We talked through what should and should not go in the recycle bin. They were very grateful and I'm looking forward to seeing their recycle bin out more regularly now.

Happy Earth Day! One goal I had for this Earth Month/Ecochallenge was to reduce my paper towel usage. When working from home I have been able to switch to a cloth napkin for meals and use dish towels instead of paper towels and it has made me aware of how little thought I was giving to using multiple bleached paper towels each day and how...

Avoid showing my disapproval when my kids are telling me about what they are doing that I am not fond of... they are adults and must be responsible for their own lives. Good communication helps lead to more peaceful conversation and fewer hard feelings after the fact.
