    Ahhhh, it's the end of the challenge - I got busier with my workload so wasn't able to keep up and do my check-ins regularly this past week. I appreciate having this challenge because sometimes we need the added push to make small but important steps to help the environment!

    It's hard to do extra when I've had a busy week but I can remember I biked to work today so I did something good.

    small ways - there was a goodbye lunch and I brought my own plate (I have a stash of bowl, plate, and silverware in my cubby. It means I don't need any further plastic or paper products...good role modeling!

    Delayed posting from the weekend but was out at a coffee shop with a friend and we talked about reusable mugs instead of having paper products and I gave a quick tutorial about recycling properly and she thanked me for helping her understand better. Hurrah - little by little to encourage proper ways!

    I'm delighted that my co-workers are catching on to turning out the lights - at least they are noticing that I am turning them off and that maybe they should too when a room is not in use!

    I do like this whole foods challenge. It really helps eliminate junk food from the diet!

    It just can be a small thing, but pointing out to my other co-workers that they could put folders/outdated information that is given to patients (ie, paper) could be recycled in the Iron Mountain shredding bins instead of throwing it in the trash. I took it upon myself to take the unused folders and will put to good use instead of throwing them away - Win Win!
