Karen Stevenson 4/30/2024 2:23 PMAhhhh, it's the end of the challenge - I got busier with my workload so wasn't able to keep up and do my check-ins regularly this past week. I appreciate having this challenge because sometimes we need the added push to make small but important steps to help the environment! -
Karen Stevenson 4/26/2024 3:37 PMIt's hard to do extra when I've had a busy week but I can remember I biked to work today so I did something good.-
Zoe Anastas (SWMC) 4/26/2024 5:31 PMI agree--that is great for the environment and also your physical and mental health to ride to work! Nicely done! -
Sara Menvielle 4/26/2024 3:40 PMThat’s awesome you were able to bike to work today!

Karen Stevenson 4/23/2024 2:17 PMsmall ways - there was a goodbye lunch and I brought my own plate (I have a stash of bowl, plate, and silverware in my cubby. It means I don't need any further plastic or paper products...good role modeling! -
Karen Stevenson 4/23/2024 5:43 AMHurrah for Earth Day and being able to bring light the good we can do to help the Environment! -
Karen Stevenson 4/23/2024 5:40 AMDelayed posting from the weekend but was out at a coffee shop with a friend and we talked about reusable mugs instead of having paper products and I gave a quick tutorial about recycling properly and she thanked me for helping her understand better. Hurrah - little by little to encourage proper ways! -

Karen Stevenson 4/18/2024 10:30 AMI'm delighted that my co-workers are catching on to turning out the lights - at least they are noticing that I am turning them off and that maybe they should too when a room is not in use!
-
Emily Katzin 4/18/2024 12:40 PMThat's great! Way to lead by example :)

Karen Stevenson 4/18/2024 5:10 AMSupported a local gift shop and am now a patron! -
Karen Stevenson 4/16/2024 11:06 AMI do like this whole foods challenge. It really helps eliminate junk food from the diet! -
Karen Stevenson 4/15/2024 11:55 AMIt just can be a small thing, but pointing out to my other co-workers that they could put folders/outdated information that is given to patients (ie, paper) could be recycled in the Iron Mountain shredding bins instead of throwing it in the trash. I took it upon myself to take the unused folders and will put to good use instead of throwing them away - Win Win!
