Container gardening can be wonderful! And it is also an easy way to have a space to grow things year round. I used to have containers on my porch for winter crops of leafy greens.

(and congrats on your new position!)

I made the switch from our natural gas stove a couple months ago. Now, we not only have cleaner air to breath in our home., we've reduced our home emissions footprint and our monthly bill has been cut by two-thirds!!

Out checking out the OR coast this week and came across this Puffin made entirely of trash collected from beaches around here at the OR Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Pretty awesome!

Trash meets Nature meets Art meets Advocacy - BRAVO!
The OR coast is so incredibly beautiful with many amazing opportunities for mindfulness, where you can really take in that beauty.
It breaks my heart to think about how all of that trash was needlessly dumped by careless people, and it doesn't just happen there. However, I choose to let this little puffin be my shiny moment, repairing that heartbreak, and giving us hope for creative ways to turn trash into treasure, inspiring others to do the same. Thank you so much for sharing, Brian.

That is incredible. Great way to reduce the trash. Did you make it Brian? They have art competions where the artist work is made completely from refuge/ found objects. The creativity is amazing.
