The start of the month came with some life curveballs. I’m glad I was able to finish the month more deliberately than it started. I think I’ve made some positive changes that I can keep up. I’m looking forward to next year.

I tend to print things out. I like the physical act of writing. I’m trying to be more mindful of what benefit I am getting from having something printed out versus using technology to minimize my need to print. Writing on a tablet is helping me get better at not printing documents and articles.

it was a nice day to plant my asparagus! can't wait to start harvesting next year! I got 2-year-old roots, but you have to wait a year to harvest so they can become "established" in the ground or you will kill or effect the growth in the future. always research and read the instructions it comes with for planting and harvesting! next...

It has been so much fun learning more about sustainability!! I am wondering, there were a few one-time actions that I haven't had time to finish yet, does anyone know if the educational resources will still be available after the challenge ends?

I enjoyed seeing the difference, my one day a week working from home, makes on the environment. I also really liked watching how many water bottles I have saved by using my reusable one daily!

To reduce waste of clothing, I am going to commit to shoping secondhand stores more often. I feel I already do a good job of donating clothes when I no longer use them. The last donation I made was 3 bags of clothes and household items to the Epilepsy Foundation. They came right to my house and did a no-contact pickup from the curb--so...

My biggest accomplishment during this challenge was planting the 25 lilacs and 25 red twig dogwood shrubs in my yard.

Preventative care can save a lot of time, $ and headaches!

Let’s carry our efforts past this challenge and stay committed to daily actions that truly make a difference. Cheers to all that participate, we did it!
